Neom Candle Review
There is nothing better than to get home and to fill your house with the warmth and smell of beautiful scented candles. They instantly evoke feelings of calm and tranquility. I absolutely love my candles; my Mum has always had the whole house smelling gorgeous and so she has passed this obsession onto me and so now my house is always covered with them. For years I would only have Yankee candles (Cinnamon Stick, Gingerbread and Shea Butter are my fav!) That was before I discovered brands like Jo Malone, The White Company and Diptyque which have the most incredible long lasting ranges. I will always try and hunt down a bargain instead of paying full price for a candle unless it is for a real treat! Space NK do a brilliant sale and usually have Diptyque Christmas sets and fragrances with massive discounts. Recently when I went into my local TK Maxx branch in Cambridge, I was so excited to see that they had a wide selection of the luxury NEOM candles and reed diffusers with 50% off the RRP! I quickly snapped up a couple for myself and as presents for friends and family before anyone else could get their hands on them! Go and check your local branch as they has some for around £23.99 instead of £46.99 which is a massive saving!
I purchased the 3 wick candles – they come in a lovely presentation box and would just make the most fantastic Christmas present. If you have someone who loves candles they will think you have paid full price as the identical candles are currently on sale on the NEOM site and John Lewis.(Win!)
I purchased the NEOM Standard tranquility candle (English Lavender, Sweet basil and pretty Jasmine), Rose & Neroli Scented Candle and the Real Luxury candle (Lavender, Jasmine & Brazilian Rosewood)
All NEOM candles are completely natural, made with vegetable wax and the ‘purest possible essential oils’ rather than cheap, toxic, synthetic fragrances that burn really dark and black inside and can release harmful toxins. The candles are also ethically sourced and crafted in BRITAIN! It is advised (as I have now taught my other half) that, as with all expensive candles, make sure you let them burn down equally so as to avoid getting the tunneling ring in the centre of the candle which means you waste the outer ring of wax. The first time you light the candle, let it it have a few hours burning and you will see the whole top layer melts away.
These are beautiful for any home and they have a fragrance to suit any mood!
Neom Luxury candles retail for around £36-£50 direct from Neom Organics or John Lewis but remember to check places like TK Maxx, Space NK sale or the shopping outlet villages like Bicester Outlet Village for reduced big brand candles.
