For Christmas, my mum got me the gorgeous mint green Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing Brush and so since I have been using it daily for the past for weeks, I wanted to do a quick review on how I am getting on with it so far!
This is an award winning product from the UK, that has been approved by Good House Keeping Magazine and winner of the Top New Electrical Product at The Pure Beauty Awards to name a few.
Here are the steps on how to cleanse using the Magnitone taken from the company website.
HOW TO CLENSE WITH THE MAGNITONE
Wet brush. Apply usual cleanser to face or brush head. Press once for daily cleanse, twice for PulseLift™ Toning
Gently glide the brush over skin in small circles, let the Vibra-Sonic Technology do all the work. The brush will turn off after 1 minute
Rinse face and gently pat dry
It is the first cleansing brush that I have really got along with as I feel it has easily slotted into my daily routine without too much hassle or additional products.
The brush uses new technology combining sonic oscillations and pulsed vibrations to help deep cleanse, shake and dislodge all the dirt, impurities and make up that has sunk into your skin. I cleanse with Liz Earle or Emma Hardie on a daily basis and used to think my skin was really clean at the end. From using the Magnitone, I have been initially cleansing as I would normally and removing eye make up and then going back in for a second cleanse with the Magnitone brush. I was shocked to see the brush looking pretty dirty still, even though the skin looked super clean after the first hand cleanse, it proved that the technology of this product really helps to shake out the dirt that we can’t see.
It is super easy to use, it has an automatic zonal timer of 1 minute, so you press once for it to start and then I clean my forehead first, after 20 seconds it buzzes which means its time to move to another part of the face, I then do my nose and cheeks before finally doing my chin and neck. I love the fact that the Magnitone is completely waterproof, so you can use it in the shower and bath when you are in a rush.
It also comes with two modes, one just for cleansing (press once on the Magnitone) and the second is the PulseLife mode (press twice) this is to help circulation by massaging the skin.
After using this for 2 weeks, I can see that my skin looks a lot cleaner, I did get a few small spots the first few days using it, but this happens if I have a deep cleansing facial as it is cleaning out all the dirt not just from the surface but from deep down. I have noticed less black heads on my skin and it looking less red around my t-zone.
This is a great product for someone who wants to start the new year with a boost to their skintone, it has a great price point and from one charge it will last for around a month, so not something that you are having to plug in every night that finds itself in the drawer by the end of the week. It only only takes 1 minute to kick your skincare into shape and give you the best results! They also come in the most gorgeous on-trend colours which means that they look great in the bathroom…seriously check out the metallic collection!
Also the lovely team at Magnitone have given me a special code ‘POPPY20‘ to give you 20% the Barefaced Pastel range until the end of the February.
