I have fallen in love, completely in love with the flared bell sleeve, this 70’s trend has taken over my recent purchases. They have been seen all over the high-street, from party dresses to cashmere jumpers. The style works with any outfit and for any occasion, it can go with some jeans and converse for a casual weekend look or with a mini skirt for a night out.
My favourite style has been this bargain from Zara – for only £12.99 they have a whole range of ribbed t-shirts with wide sleeves, I have worn the black one to work as well as for a birthday party with a black skirt.
I have it in black and white stripes as well!
I have my eye on this beauty from M&S I just can’t decide what colour option I want to go for yet, the blush pink colour will be perfect for spring but grey is always a good idea.
There are so many options out there that you can also choose how dramatic you want to go, some I own are very head turning and a definite statement,my lovely sister compared my black Zara top to Mona the Vampire when I first wore it! but I love it and have totally embraced the trend.
If that might be a bit too much for you there are plenty of other options that are much more subtle for those that want to try it out.
I think this style really updates any wardrobe and just jazzes up an exciting pair of jeans / skirts you already own. I have added my top picks from high-street to high-end to inspire you if you are interested in jumping on this trend, I really like this one and look forward to seeing it follow through into Spring / Summer 17.
